Our patio light clips are engineered from the ground up for wood privacy fences. A unique I-beam profile slides snugly between two fence pickets and rests on the top rail, using your fence's own structure to stay locked in place. No fasteners. No adhesive. No damage. Just your lights, exactly where you want them.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Slide
Place the clip between two neighboring fence pickets. It hugs both pickets and settles onto the top rail.
2. Hang
Loop your string light cord into the clip. Route it straight, curved, arched — however your space calls for it.
3. Enjoy
That's it. Your lights are up, secure, and looking great. When the season ends, slide the clips back out. Zero marks left behind.

Will these work on my fence?
These clips are designed for standard wood privacy fences where pickets are mounted side by side with a small gap between them. The clip slides into that gap and rests on the top rail.
Do I need any tools?
None. No drill, no screwdriver, no ladder — just your hands.
Can I use these on both sides of the fence?
Yes. The clip works on the rail side (interior of fence) and the front-facing side, giving you flexibility in how and where your lights run.
What kind of light cord do these hold?
Our clips accommodate standard gauge patio string light cords — the kind used on the vast majority of outdoor Edison and globe string lights sold today.
Are these reusable?
Absolutely. At the end of the season, slide them out, store them, and they're ready to go again next year.
How many do I need?
We recommend 2 clips per fence section. A 25-pack covers approximately 12 sections — enough for most standard backyard fence runs.
